Doing this with its own top-level in case people didn't click into that thread above, but plurk is doing something called "campsites" that mix plurk and forums, based on subject. A few people want a familiar face to make one for DWRP, in part to make sure someone the community would be uncomfortable with doesn't stake one out.

Before I do anything else, I want to put this by the community to see if they even want someone to try to make a DWRP campsite on plurk, and if I'm someone they would like to see admin-ing it. I'll be posting a plurk on the emp plurk asking this as well.

I would be doing this anon, with the emp plurk. I may not be able to bypass their requirement for plurk karma but we can see how it goes. It requires 3 other admins apparently, and fair warning, they have a set up where admins and the administrator can't leave the campsite.

If a decent number of people would like this, I'll then post a prospective set of modding rules to make sure the way I'd want to handle rules is also compatible with what the community wants, and isn't too strict or too lenient for their preferences.

So three questions

1) Do people want a plurk campfire for DWRP?
2) Would you like for me to be the one to run it?
3) Is anyone willing to also admin as one of the 3 admins? I'm willing to handle most of the management of the campsite, if a few people are willing to sign up just to let us meet the requirements. We can also arrange this via PM if you'd like to keep it private.

If people do want this but we can't get 3 admins, this seems to be in an experimental stage and we can try again later. I have concerns about admins not being able to leave and would like to see a situation where they're allowed to, so it might be worth waiting until this is out of beta.
