This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. LAB OF NATURE - Invite Only -Horror/Comedy Panfandom Game
You wake up in a cell. The mattress under you is firm, uncomfortably so. The blankets are scratchy. Everything is new, previously untouched by another's hands and carrying a faint smell of disinfectant.
The silence hangs heavily over the cell, leaving you alone with your thoughts. The beige walls taunt you as the silence grows heavier. It begins to sink in that this is not where you fell asleep, nor where you're meant to be at all. Rolling out of the bed, your feet hit cold tile. You rush towards the door in a panic. You try the handle, and defying expectation, it moves at the touch of your hand. You step into a long white hallway lined with closed doors, each the same as the next. There could be others waiting for you, all just as confused. All of you powerless and afraid.
There is no answer, there is only an uncomfortable silence. A variety of questions that hangs in the air with all of you.

This is Lab Of Nature, a private panfandom horror game where your character is experimented upon for the benefit of your mystery benefactors. Your character awakens in an cell-like room with a stranger, and must endure horrors like they have never seen before. Will your character remain who they once were or will they be corrupted?
We operate as a love letter to panfandom games of yore. Indulge in horror, in comedy, and whatever else you can dream up. Players actions at certain moments can affect the plot and pacing of the game.

► Game genre/tone: Jamjar, forced captivity with experiments (events and by player choice), horror mixed with lighthearted crack
► Player age: 18+
► Character age: 12+
► Activity: Check-in once a month
► Game privacy level: Closed community, invite-only
► Max amount of characters per player: 3
► Cast/character/player caps: None at the moment
► Smut: Allowed, but definitely not the focus of the game
► Characters allowed: Original canon, Original Characters, CRAU, canon AU (Marvel's What If, etc.) Humanoid species, anthropomorphic animals, anthropomorphic robots
► Characters not allowed: Player-crafted AU, malleable protagonists, real life people, religious/historical figures, non-anthro animals (with or without human-level sentience), AIs, talking cars & such
► Interaction types: In-character and network-based
► Network type: Laptop with rudimentary text option, no video or voice
► Power nerfing: Yes, but powers may be returned during certain experiments
► Memory loss: No
► Regain system: No
► Forced humanization: No. (characters who are overly large will be shrunk down to human size)
► Forced transformation: Only during certain experiments. (Can be opted out of)
► Death mechanic: Automatic resurrection, penalty optional
► Schedule: Events (experiments) once a month, no 'arrival logs' or anything like that. Every other month, the event will be a Test Drive Meme
► Test Drive Meme: is game canon, you don't need an invite to play
► Character influence on the setting: Yes. There's lore and new areas to be unlocked at specific opportunities
