there are a lot of flakes out there unfortunately and people who complain about having to actually rp. I wouldn’t tag them and move onto other people.

da and yeah, ig it's something like the dopamine hit of getting tags and interest from strangers but the laziness of not wanting to actually do the work of reciprocating

tbf i think most of us have our days of "no take only throw" aka "ough no write only receive pls" when it comes to tags in our inbox sometimes, but ime that's usually only the passing funk before you get back to writing and actually enjoying the back and forth intrinsic in rp. except some ppl never seem to get past that stage? like the weird flakes on memes that toplevel constantly but never actually respond to any tag-ins they get

i'd say they might be better off writing fanfic if they only want the validation of attention and none of rp's back-and-forth...but then again that would probably still be more work than they're actually willing to put in themselves lol
