rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I got back into DWRP after a few years of tabletop and am looking for games with a higher ratio of adventure/outside conflict to interpersonal conflict. I’m okay with smallness or slowness, I just want adventure!

escordvi is an excellent game that center around pirate themed adventures. they're invite only but have been one of the most open and friendly games and playerbase i've seen a good long while. so you really shouldn't have too much trouble gaining an invite. or gaining threads on their tdm.

As someone who is in Escordvi, I couldn't agree and recommend this enough! It's been a blast so far, everyone's excellent to bounce off of, and like anon said, getting an invite isn't too difficult. If you can't get one from any players, then you can ask mods for one I believe.

I'm probably outing myself a bit here but I recently joined and though I'm on the slower side people have been amazingly welcoming. The mods have done a really lovely job in world building and events and just, I love everyone in this bar ♥

anons, are there any canons/characters that tackle the subject of hedonism in a more positive way? seeking pleasure but without being irresponsible about it

kamen rider ooo. it's the only story i've ever found where selfishness and pleasure are both criticized and upheld as positive, healthy parts of the human experience and points out the inherent lack of agency in excessive humility. plus, it's kamen rider, so the dudes go around shirtless and their kicks explode.

i've heard fate/ treads the same ground with its main character, but it's fate/, it's about as accessible as tomato soup welded into a bank vault.

Kamen rider ooo is an excellent look at selfishness and self-sacrifice.
