you seem confused by the entire point of this conversation. it isn't about wanting to be able to tag the people that aren't available, it's that a sea of closed toplevels indicates to new players that a good chunk of the game isn't interested in playing with them. that makes a game feel uninviting for new players. this isn't that hot of a take.

i don't get why every expression of disappointment is now accused of being entitlement to someone's time or a demand that other people change for you.

no, people shouldn't do something they find less fun to make me happy.

i just wish the way that i had fun wasn't at such odds with the way that other people in my game had fun. i don't intend to make demands about it, which is why i'm here in the woes thread expressing woe instead of trying to change anything.

when, no, it's just a woe. not a thing i expect anyone to change for me. and beyond this specific complaint, i've seen it come up more and more here that any vague expression of disappointment is actually entitlement or a demand to change. which is a strange, overly accusatory attitude. someone anonymously posting "i prefer Y and my game has shifted towards X, bummer" is not the same as going into a game interest check and whining to get the mods to change it.
